LKA joined with Nunn Construction to make improvements to the Classical Academy’s North Campus facility. The project scope addressed a number of significant deficiencies for both the Elementary and Junior/ Senior activity areas of the building. As the proposed activities were “noisy”, the solution placed these spaces away from the “quiet” instructional areas and preserved the “million-dollar view” from the Media Center.
A new Elementary Gymnasium, Dining Platform / Stage and Music room were added to the west side of the activities wing.
The Junior / Senior improvements included a State of the art Performing Arts addition, introducing a 640+ capacity Auditorium w/ Stage, Black Box Theater and Scene Shop. This addition also created the opportunity for a large student Lobby / Commons and new Clearly Stated Front Entrance.
Both the Elementary and Junior / Senior additions received serving kitchens to support the Elementary Dining Platform and Lobby / Commons.
