Sustainable Design

Fully Integrated Environmental Design is not new to our firm – it’s a process we have embraced since the firm was founded. From experience we know that an integrated design team needs a strong leader to be successful. Not a dictator, but leaders skilled at eliciting the best and timely efforts from the team members. We are that leader!

Buildings That Work

As a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, we firmly believe that a successful project is more than just great design, meeting the budget and the schedule – it’s about a building that works. The key is constant communication. It’s regularly scheduled meetings. It’s prompt conference records. It’s verifying that everyone always know what’s going on.

Our Team

Our success depends on our ability to collaboratively and creatively approach the unique design requirements of our clients. Our team is more than up to the challenge. We are a passionate and dedicated team of talented architects, design specialists, specification writers and field administrators, as well as active members of the AIA , A4LE, CSI, LEED Accredited Professionals, and NCARB.

Doug Hahn

Doug Hahn

Principal

The full range of Architectural Services – project programming, facility planning, design, construction document preparation, contract administration, quality control and project management – represent the extent of Doug’s experience in his profession.  The practice of Architecture is satisfying because it allows us to join with others to create the places in which their goals can be achieved.  Since he began his career in 1979 Doug has focused on serving clients.  It is important to him that the firm’s clients have confidence that their project needs are being met and resources respected.  He pursues these goals by leading a team through a collaborative, interactive process to create facilities that satisfy program requirements and perform well as buildings.  This pursuit is undergirded by listening effectively and carefully documenting the project requirements.  It is Doug’s view that comprehensive, carefully coordinated construction documents presenting forward looking design concepts incorporating current established building science is an essential element in serving clients well.
